20th Anniversary of the International Year of the Family: "Harmonious Family Workshops"

2014 marks the 20th anniversary of the International Year of the Family (IYF) which focuses on exploring family-oriented policies and strategies aiming at alleviating family poverty, ensuring work-family balance as well as advancing social integration and intergenerational solidarity.

To echo the 20th Anniversary of the International Year of the Family, the Family Council and the Home Affairs Bureau has commissioned Radio Television Hong Kong Radio 2 to organize "Harmonious Family Workshops" from July to September of 2014. Workshops include family singing contest, family model making and sketch cum family tour, which help to enhance communication between family members and foster family harmony.
