Radio Version of Family Education Package on Marital Relationship

The Family Council organised a launching ceremony on 11 May 2013 to celebrate the Mother's Day and International Day of Families and to launch the radio version of the family education package on marital relationship. The Chairman of the Family Council, Professor Daniel Shek Tan-lei, was the officiating guest. The radio programmes will be broadcast from May to August 2013. Through weekly segments of short radio dramas and guest interviews, the radio programmes aim to promulgate the importance of and ways to maintaining good marital relationship.

2) Closing Ceremony

The Family Council organised the closing ceremony of radio version of family education package on "Marital Relationship" at King Hui Hall, Hong Kong Adventist College on 11 August 2013. Through renewal of vows of 7 married couples, the event promoted the importance of maintaining good marital relationship. The ceremony marked the end of radio version of family education package on "Marital Relationship".

Ms Shirley Loo, the Convenor of the Sub-committee on the Promotion of Family Core Values and Family Education presided over the ceremony and conveyed her blessing to the couples. She also shared with audiences her experience in maintaining good marital relationship and strengthening family core values.

The seven couples shared how they ran into each other and their experience in maintaining good marital relationship.  The guests also expressed their views on harmonious marriage.
