Celebration of the 2012 Mother's Day cum International Day of Families

To celebrate the 2012 Mother's Day cum International Day of Families, the Family Council and Radio Television Hong Kong orgainsed a family activities on 12 May 2012.  The territory-wide programmes of the "Love and Respect Thy Elders" Campaign were also introduced.  The programmes included production of the Campaign theme song performed by Ms Miriam Yeung, broadcast of Announcement of Public Interest and radio programmes, publication of feature articles and educational programmes, interactive workshops, musical performance and various competitions.  The aim is to encourage and mobilise every member of the family to respect the elders by putting "Love", "Concern", "Respect" and "Care" into practice.

Game "Be proud of our parents" - children impersonated their parents and expressed their love to them.
